If you have finished working for a client and they’re satisfied with the electric services you’ve provided, then you should be utilizing them to drive more business. In this age, more and more people will go online to check out reviews before they decide which electrician to use, and you want to stand out from the competition with glowing testimonials.
Make it easy for your clients to leave reviews by auto-generating forms that are branded with your logo, colors, and URL. Quick to fill out and easy to share with one-click options, these reviews can go straight to Google, Yelp, Facebook, and other platforms that you’ve designated. This makes it easy for them to show up when people start googling for electricians in their area.
Choose if you want your clients to fill out 1 to 10 ratings, 1 to 5 stars and whether you want them to auto-publish if they’re satisfied with the services you’ve provided. If clients are less than pleased, you don’t have to have their reviews published, but instead can choose to open up trouble tickets that will let you find out why they’re less than pleased with your business.
This is an excellent option for driving more business that doesn’t take much time, is simple to set up, and is ultimately one of the most powerful marketing tools that you can utilize.
Make sure you’re automating your workflow so your business is constantly growing
You don’t have to spend a lot of time on tedious tasks if you’re properly automating your electrician business. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to easily collect payments, gather signatures, and make sure you have all the documents you need to get started?
When your client books your services online, you can have them easily submit payment right away, flow into sign up form, fill out a contract that they can immediately e-sign, and then you can even auto-send them a note thanking them for choosing you over your competitors. Clients like to feel appreciated! It’s these simple touches that can make all the difference.
Our form generation software isn’t just used for gathering information and simplifying the start-up process. You can also use it to design bait and tripwire offers to put at the top of your landing pages. You can customize timed popovers, exit pops, landing page toppers, call-to-action buttons and more. With our easy to use drag-and-drop interface, you don’t need HTML to get started. Just an idea of what you want to create and a few minutes of your time!
Protect yourself with e-Waivers while utilizing your client information to earn bigger bucks
As an electrician, it’s important that you protect yourself from potential liability and with e-waivers you can do exactly that. Choose the language you want to use on your forms so that way you know that your clients understand exactly what they are signing.
You can use custom if-then branching logic to make sure that you’re collecting the right information without forcing clients to fill out too much paperwork that they don’t need. As an example of how this works, if your client chooses that their house was built before a certain year, they may be directed to fill out additional information. This can help keep your records updated. If they don’t choose this option, then they don’t have to wade through the extra steps of crossing out information that’s irrelevant to them.
You can use your e-waivers to look clients up by name and make sure that everything important has been provided. Then you can use their information to add your clients to your email list and your retargeting ads. You can also make sure that when you’re done providing service to them, you send them an auto-generated survey to fill out. You can export straight to email lists and send emails to your clients from within the app.
Get e-signatures right away so you can lock in contracts
If you’ve ever waited for a signature on a contract as an electrician, then you know how frustrating it can be to lose clients because they haven’t signed and have decided to go somewhere else. With e-signatures that can be collected via phones, computers, tablets, and kiosks, you can ask your clients to sign right away so you no longer have to chase them down to get your contracts prepared.
Once you and your clients have signed the contract, then you will both get a signed PDF copy sent to your email. You’ll also be put in a Shared Social Workroom. This cloud-based folder is a great way to add comments, leave notes, upload and download docs at your convenience, and even add in pictures for quick verification.
With e-signatures, you can make sure that your contracts adapt depending on your client’s needs. If they have a lot of work that needs doing, then your e-signable contracts can prompt them to fill out extra fields. If the electrician work they need is simple, then their contract can be too. Use saved templates to get moving faster rather than having to remake a document for each and every client that requests your services.
You shouldn’t have to worry about the hassle of switching from paper to automation, and that’s why SwiftCloud can help you every step of the way, whether you want to move forward with our marketing integrations, start leveraging your clients’ reviews, or make use of e-signatures and e-waivers!
Frequently Asked Questions
Electronic Signature & Payment is easy.
In short, you have two options:Get Money then e-Signature or Get e-Signature then Money
Either is fine and which option is right for you depends on the nature of your sale. If you have a smaller amount to collect (and thus more frequent), we recommend collecting money first, then getting signature.
If you have a higher dollar amount, the value of the contract is increased but the contract is usually not in force until consideration (aka payment) is made and thus for more complex contracts you probably want the contract signed first.
Either is fine, and there’s no real wrong answer – in the end, the result is the same – you need both.
To setup e-signature then payment via paypal, create your form as usual (at http://swiftcloud.io/form/create-form ) and on the right side you’ll see some options under “User Flow” like this:
There you can choose an e-commerce product or service to auto-redirect the user after signature for payment. In this example, the user will flow from (1.) Your website, to >> (2.) the signature page, then >> (3.) payment page, then (4.) back to your site for a receipt and thank you ...
